  • Alex is the founder of The Bushman Group — an agency that leverages influencers and social media to build community and impact. 

    During COVID, Alex co-founded WeGaveWhat, the philanthropic extension of WeWoreWhat. Since WGW, Alex has established herself in NYC as a go-to resource for creators looking to use their platforms for good. In addition to WeWoreWhat, she's worked with influencers including MAKEUPXKA, Mary Holland Nader, Melissa Wood, Megan Roup, Ana Wolfermann, Liv Schreiber, Alex Bennett, and more. 

    Good Ole Girls Club (GOGC) stemmed from a feeling of loneliness when Alex was building WeGaveWhat and a craving for a community of women, or "chosen coworkers." GOGC is  reimagining networking to foster more authentic and genuine professional connections that honor women as the multi-faceted, multi-passionate people they are.

  • Staj literally translates to 'intern' in french. Short for stagiaire, which is common in fine dining when chefs test out a kitchen before they get hired.

    To us, Staj is providing personalized job shadowing experiences allowing you to see the good, bad, and ugly of your "dream job" before taking any risks.

  • Job shadowing is an opportunity for individuals to observe professionals in their desired field to gain insight into a specific career or industry. With Staj, you can browse available job shadowing opportunities, apply to shadow professionals in various fields, and schedule sessions based on your interests and availability. Each job shadowing experience is designed to help you understand the day-to-day responsibilities and get an inside look at your desired industry.

  • Once you apply to shadow your desired host, someone from our team will follow up with you to schedule a 15-minute introductory call with you and the host. During this call, both you and the host will meet virtually, discuss your learning goals, review a sample agenda, and schedule the in-person Staj experience.

    A few days before the Staj experience, you will receive an email with the meeting address and reminders on how to prepare.

    On the day of your Staj, you will meet your host at the previously discussed location, and your host will guide you through the Staj, sharing valuable insights into their industry.

  • The Staj prices vary depending on your desired time and outcome with the host. Check out the prices listed on each host page in the "Staj Plans" section for more information.

  • After you’ve gained invaluable insights and tips for your dream industry, the world is your oyster!

    The Staj experience provides an inside view into your desired field. If you are interested in more time shadowing your dream job, please apply for the Staj Professional experience on your desired hosts page.

    Staj also offers additional programs to continue your mentorship relationship with your host. Continued mentorship is an opportunity after your Staj experience.
